Third place award goes to the Trace Clouds
İzmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Architecture 2019 graduates Seyit Koyuncu, Ebrar Eke and Erman Eskiköy won the third prize with their proposals “Trace Clouds” in the Ceiling Design Competition opened by Mavibahçe Shopping and Life Center.
Our students explain their proposals as follows: “’Trace Clouds’ are inspired by the interactive structure of the Mavibahçe living center. The sky, which is the most important element of the open space of Mavibahçe, is brought inside through reflecting the unifying approach of the space, as the living part of the structure, while reflecting the open air freshness at the indoor areas of the shopping center. Thus, with the workshops to be held within the production process, visitors will leave their mark in design and our design will leave a mark in Mavibahçe.”
