Department of Architecture Webinar Series 2: Andria Post-Ergun
Landscape Architect Andria Post-Ergun to give a seminar entitled “Urban Farming” in scope of ARCH 502 Theory and Criticism in Architecture II, conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceylan Öner.
Andria Post Ergun started her career designing wildflower gardens for estates in the Hamptons, Long Island. After receiving her Master’s Degree from the Conway School of Landscape Design, she took the position of Grassroots Program Director for the City of Boston. The program directed federal funding towards community-driven green space projects and led landscape design review for all publicly-funded housing developments. Her 11-year tenure oversaw the planning, design and construction of over 300 public parks, community gardens, urban farms and residential green spaces. She currently lives in Urla, Izmir with her family, and works as a landscape design consultant.
