Department of ArchitectureUrban Global Networks: The Case of İzmir was held with the contributions of IUE Architecture
Organized by the leadership of Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FFAD), Department of Architecture, “Global Urban Networks: The Case of İzmir” meeting was held by the contributions of İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO), Marmara Municipalities Union (MBB) and the presence of Mayor Tunç Soyer, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality
“Global Urban Networks: The Case of İzmir” meeting aimed to explore the potential of İzmir as a Global City; to introduce the Global Urban Networks Research in general with some touch to İzmir and to look at projects from İzmir that highlights the global city potentials as well as some data mapping and interpretation.
